Nap Time NYC

So last night Maurice and Jon came to visit me in the city. Maureen had a financial aid interview at SVA in the morning so they came late last night slept over and when she finished her interview we decided to head out for some food and enjoyment. We headed over to Kat'z Delicatessen which has been around since cowboy times in 1888. We all got brisket sammiches which in case you are wondering, they look like this:

Top is brisket bottom is pastrami

After that we headed over to Economy Candy on
Rivington street and bought oodles of delicious and hard to find candy items. Here's a quick shot of what that glory looks like:

Then to top it all of we headed down to the Donut Plant and got so many delicious donuts!

And now it's nap time! We headed back to my place played some video games and now everyone is sleeping!

Fun day thus far! And who knows what can happen next?

The Civil War Sucks

But the Revolutionary War does not.

Wink, Garret and I went to the Revolutionary War....it wasn't as "Revolutionary" as i remember hearing; but still good. It was filled to the colonial brim with a slew of sweaty men between the ages of 70 and 167...wearing outfits the equivalent of a European in Florida...all whilst shooting giant boom-sticks at each other. We watched for a few hours as men died in the sun, came back from the dead, crawled into the shade (drums and rifles at hand), and then proceeded to die again.

It was inspiring.

Want to know how inspiring? So inspiring that i spent $0.99 on a song for the video at the end of this post. Everyone in Europe is probably so jealous right now. They wish they were having this much fun. We got to watch the British and the Americans butt-heads for a solid hour and a half, with some fine young colonial wenches, might i add. And yes, i do believe thine "Digital Camera" is showing...

And big surprise here, you'll never guess who won....the underdogs, the rag-tag farmers from another mother, the united, the free, the actors who are noticeably having a better time because they don't have anywhere near the same amount of clothing as the British...

You guessed it...

America.

And lastly, not to be shown up by Europe's "We're having so much fun!" video....without further a-do....

This puppy cost me $0.99: watch me

Suck it.

Eat A Dinner Clown!

That is all.

Also, Jon B and I lost power for like a million hours today. It was super hot, and I was super bored. To pass the time I used my laptop's battery power to updated my resume ( I am far too lazy to to figure out how to make that cool mark thingy above the e... sorry) So hopefully, here's to so-long Gap forever.

[Special note for Dave, Laurie got a promotion to head of store at Banana. So, good for her sad for us =c ]

Anyways, I originally wanted to post just that clown but I wrote other things, deal with it. Adventures with Mollie tomorrow, Expect pictures and an update from me quite soon with limited swearing at the request of mom Hughes

I could smell you jerks getting off the elevator,
